Epoxy Tube

Epoxy tubes, made from alkali-free glass fiber and epoxy resin, offer high mechanical strength and excellent dielectric properties. Available in Class B (130°C), F (155°C), H (180°C), and C (above 180°C) heat resistance grades, they are ideal for insulating components in electrical equipment and are suitable for humid and transformer oil environments. Minor surface imperfections are permissible as long as they do not affect functionality.

Epoxy Tube Product Introduction

Epoxy tubes are made from electrical-grade alkali-free glass fiber cloth impregnated with epoxy resin. After baking and hot pressing in forming molds, these tubes are processed into rods with a circular cross-section. These glass fiber rods exhibit high mechanical strength, excellent dielectric properties, and good machinability. The heat resistance of epoxy tubes is classified into different grades: Class B (130°C), Class F (155°C), Class H (180°C), and Class C (above 180°C). They are suitable for use as insulating structural components in electrical equipment and can be used in humid environments and transformer oil.

The surface of the epoxy tube should be smooth and flat, free of bubbles, oil stains, and impurities. Minor imperfections like uneven color, scratches, and slight surface irregularities that do not affect usage are permissible. For laminated glass fiber rods with a diameter exceeding 25mm, minor cracks on the ends or cross-sections that do not affect their use are also acceptable.
