High-Strength Insulation Columns for Intermediate Frequency Furnaces

The high-strength insulation columns for intermediate frequency furnaces are made from alkali-free glass fiber fabric impregnated with epoxy phenolic resin. The material is processed through baking and hot-pressing. These columns offer high mechanical and dielectric performance, good heat resistance, and moisture resistance, and possess excellent machinability with a heat resistance grade of B. They are used as insulation materials in electric furnaces, including steel-making, aluminum production, aluminum alloy plants, and carbide plants.

  • Dimensions: Length: 3980mm; Width: 1000mm; Thickness: 10-400mm. Custom sizes can be produced based on customer requirements.

2. Applications of High-Strength Insulation Columns for Intermediate Frequency Furnaces

These high-strength insulation columns are suitable for power electronics, high-voltage electrical equipment, and medium-to-high frequency furnaces. Made from 3240 epoxy phenolic laminated glass fiber board with epoxy phenolic resin as the adhesive and alkali-free glass fabric as the substrate, these boards are heat-dried and hot-pressed. The 3240 board provides high mechanical strength, good electrical performance, and is used as insulation structural components in motors and electrical devices. It can be used in humid environments and transformer oil. The board is also known as epoxy board and is suitable for H-class motor and electrical insulation parts, serving as an arc-resistant material in switches. Lengths can be customized according to customer requirements. Standard sizes include: 1000x2000mm, 1220x2470mm, and 1500x3980mm. These columns are used as insulation materials in electric furnaces for steel-making, aluminum production, aluminum alloy plants, and carbide plants.
