1. Overview of Gold Mica Board

Gold mica board is produced by bonding mica paper with silicone adhesive, followed by heating and pressing. The mica content is approximately 90%, with 10% silicone adhesive.

2. Product Characteristics of Gold Mica Board

  1. HP-5 Rigid White Mica Board: This product is silver-white in color, with a temperature resistance rating of 500°C for continuous use and 850°C for intermittent use.
  2. HP-8 Rigid Gold Mica Board: This product is gold in color, with a temperature resistance rating of 850°C for continuous use and 1050°C for intermittent use.
  3. Excellent High-Temperature Insulation: The board can withstand temperatures up to 1000°C, offering good cost performance among high-temperature insulation materials.
  4. Outstanding Electrical Insulation: The board features a dielectric breakdown voltage of up to 20KV/mm.
  5. High Flexural Strength and Machinability: It has high flexural strength and excellent toughness, allowing it to be processed into various shapes without delaminating using punching and other machining methods.
  6. Excellent Environmental Performance: The board is asbestos-free, emitting minimal smoke and odor when heated, and in some cases, is completely smoke- and odor-free.
  7. HP-5 Rigid Mica Board: This is a high-strength board material that retains its original properties even under high-temperature conditions.

3. Applications of Gold Mica Board

  1. Household Appliances: Used in electric irons, hair dryers, toasters, coffee makers, microwave ovens, and electric heaters.
  2. Metallurgy and Chemical Industry: Used in power frequency furnaces, intermediate frequency furnaces, electric arc furnaces, and injection molding machines in the metallurgy industry.
